How often should you get a facial?
This depends on your skin, but the general answer is every 4-6. You can definitely come in sooner than 4 weeks because all my treatments stimulate the cell response in a positive way and continually build upon each treatment.
what are the benefits of getting regular facials?
Healthy skin! Professional treatments increase circulation and stimulate skin cells to help keep your skin stay extra clear, bright and hydrated. Staying on a regular facial schedule will help you stay ahead of skin aging and cell damage so your skin will be strong and resilient.
How long should You stop using Retin-a, retinols, or acid based products before receiving a facial?
At least 48 hours is best to make sure your skin is not overly sensitive before the facial. If facial waxing is involved please stop at least 4-5 days before.
How long should you wait after Botox or Filler to get a facial?
Please wait a least 3 days after Botox and 5 days after filler to get a facial. The reason is to let the infection to settle properly and the needle insertion areas to heal up. That way you can get the best of both the injections and facial.
How long should you wait after getting a cosmetic medical treatment, such as micro needling, laser, Ipl, etc?
With any medical cosmetic treatments please consult your practitioner before scheduling a facial. LED and oxygen can be done shortly after laser resurfacing or micro needling procedures to speed the healing up, but it is best to consult with me before booking.
How long should you wait to get a facial after lash extensions?
It is best to have your facial before getting your lash extensions. Or wait at least 24 hours after getting your extension to receive a facial.
Can you get a facial while pregnant?
Yes! It is important to let me know you are pregnant before starting our treatment so I can adjust accordingly. Peels and certain product ingredients are not recommended while pregnant which we can discuss beforehand.
If you have an active cold sore can you get a facial?
No. It is best to let the sore heal before getting a facial to prevent infection and over stimulation. If you feel a cold sore is coming it is best to reschedule as well.
